摘要	Ischyromyid rodents from Middle Eocene fissure fillings in the Shanghuang Quarry, Jiangsu Province, include Anatoparamys crepaturus, n.g. and sp., and four other, probably allied taxa. These rodents appear to represent an endemic lineage of Asian rodents that are derived in the direction of bunodont, non-lophate cheek teeth, suggesting a preference for a diet of soft vegetable matter.; Ischyromyid rodents from Middle Eocene fissure fillings in the Shanghuang Quarry, Jiangsu Province, include Anatoparamys crepaturus, n.g. and sp., and four other, probably allied taxa.
